And The Saga Continued....

And so it does, so the little darling returned home from school and suddenly remembers to tell me she also needs enough 2p coins to make £1.00, oh! Lordy.

So its raid the piggy banks, my wallet (which had everything but 2p pieces) and then thankfully daddy arrived home early and had the rest that was needed. I swear I gain a grey hair every day if not every hour.

So I guess you want to see the costume....

I was able to gather enough stuff from around the house to represent the American State of Hawaii, (I took the picture just before we went out the door hence the cardigan but you get the drift).

And The dish to represent Hawaii....

A Tropical Fruit Salad, which I added a tin of pineapple chunks and cherries to, these were bought on the way to the meeting as I didn't have any in the house, so yes I had to walk with a can opener. The brownie leader must have thought I was a bit do-lally but completely understood when I replayed the scenario from this morning and this afternoon.

So yes mummy did it again, she saved the day and the kid says"yeah! mum" and mum says "I'm knackered, where is my book?"

To round things off, here is my sweet little one who has been modeling in her dressing gown all evening. She made my day by coming downstairs with her latest creation....

Its called a 'Purse Necklace' which she created all by herself... A budding jewelry designer in the making maybe? She's just too cute!!!

AH! KIDS YOU GOTTA LOVE EM!!!

If you haven't the foggiest what I'm talking about you'll need to read the previous post to get this one :)

  7. I love the way schools just think we have all the things they ask for to hand with 24 hours :-o I am often being asked to create a £1 out of 5pences, 20pences etc etc - I am lucky if I can find any loose change in my house lol. Oh and then there is the, 'Muuuuum, I need to dress up as a Octopus for the assembly on Friday' aaahhh :-)
