And so it does, so the little darling returned home from school and suddenly remembers to tell me she also needs enough 2p coins to make £1.00, oh! Lordy.
So its raid the piggy banks, my wallet (which had everything but 2p pieces) and then thankfully daddy arrived home early and had the rest that was needed. I swear I gain a grey hair every day if not every hour.
So I guess you want to see the costume....

ReplyDeleteMaureen, I surprise myself at times but I suppose us moms just do what we have to do, don't we? :)
I love the way schools just think we have all the things they ask for to hand with 24 hours :-o I am often being asked to create a £1 out of 5pences, 20pences etc etc - I am lucky if I can find any loose change in my house lol. Oh and then there is the, 'Muuuuum, I need to dress up as a Octopus for the assembly on Friday' aaahhh :-)
