Just a quick update on the Altered Book Round Robin Swap I'm currently hosting. I completed the pages of Tracey's book which was a book of poems, so using the poems as inspiration, I glued, cut, collaged, etc some of the pages. Here is a video of the pages I altered.
I must say I am really enjoying this art form and look forward to putting my mark on the other participant's books.

ReplyDeleteHi Kella,
ReplyDeleteI told you I'd get back over here! I was on my way out the door to work this morning so no time to surf!
Wow so much going on in your life. First off your book looks fabulous. I've never done a round robin swap, can you believe that! ha!
Your jewelry piece is looking pretty great too.
All the family sick, Not so fun! Glad your all healthy again. Sleepovers oh I remember them well. It seems every weekend someone was staying over at our home. I Miss those days!
Some great wins you got too!!!!
Now for those eggs. I have carved those big eggs and ostrage eggs using a dremel tool and diamond bits. They make the most amazing art. Just draw out your design making sure to connect your pieces in some way ,otherwise it will all fall out.
Have a great weekend and hope your able to catch up on everything
Hugs Lynn
I didn't see any other place to comment, so hope this will work with the Bead Soup Reveal! I love that heart, where oh where can I get one? As I followed along on your little bit at a time photos, I first thought, hmmm, those other colors, we'll see! Then when I saw the entire piece, Wow, what a masterpiece of color combinations that really work. You have a unique piece that is beautiful and has quite a story behind it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm Erin's "other" partner, the one who's now working on a blog!
